Tucker's Firing has unleashed a Conservative Voice That Will Only Grow Louder.
It was the best thing for him; it was the best thing for all Americans. (Except for Fox!)
Have you ever heard this adage? What does not kill you only makes you stronger. Tucker was strong to begin with. Not only is he “Old Money,” he has his own website, Tucker Carlson.com, and Fox must continue to pay him until the end of his contract, which expires in 2025.
That contract stipulates that he not allowed to work for another network until then.
But, why work for another Network? Newsmax would take him in a New York Second, but he is better off on his own. It is rumored that Elon Musk has asked him, “What do you want to do—I will make it happen.”
President Trump, who does not want to debate at all, has said that if Tucker is the host for a debate, then he will participate.
There must be a deal in the making, since Trump is a veteran deal maker. I have read his book, The Art of the Deal, and it is brilliant.
I would like a ring-side seat for that debate. Chris Wallace was painful for to watch in the earlier debates. His Trump Derangement Syndrome was so evident, that I was horrified while I watched it.
If I was horrified then it stands to reason that Trump was not having his best day either. No wonder he now refuses to debate. That is, if a Chris Wallace or another with Trump Derangement Syndrome is the moderator. Besides, he is scoring very high in the Trafalgar and other polls.
He thinks he does not need a debate. As an American citizen, I want to see debates. That is part of the process. As a Puerto Rican resident, I cannot vote in the general election, but I can, and will, in the primary.
My husband and I belong to the Statehood Party. The voting procedure for that party is enlightened. We all must show voter ID. They scrutinized mine, along with my signature for several minutes.
We had paper ballots, which one of the workers fed through a machine. Then, I had to stick one of my fingers in invisible ink. Beforehand, a blacklight had been swiped over my palms.
I almost thought that a body cavity search was next, and began scanning the room for a matronly woman, or perhaps an extremely hot young man. If I am to get one of those, then I get to pick my poison.
A bodily cavity search would have been a bit much, but I do believe in voter ID. One has to show ID many times for many things in this modern world. So why not for voting?
It begs the question: Why is the Democratic Party marching in lock step against this?
You all know why, and if you haven’t figured it out, perhaps you ought to let your logic and imagination shift to the wild side; you may learn something.
So, it is going to be fun, at least for me, to see what happens next with Tucker.
I know for a fact that even if a person is comfortable, meaning that they don’t feel panicked with the electric bill and are well-fed, they still may want to do that which they enjoy.
Yes, Tucker has old money but there are things that he appears to enjoy.
Like, sticking it to The Man. By being a voice for Conservatism. By making Americans do this thing called thinking.
The dumbing down of America in my view is the most horrendous act of The Left. It promises to be, like Welfare, multi-generational. If you want this idea expressed comically, then I urge you to watch an old movie, Idiocracy.
Staring Luke Wilson, it is about a time and space traveler. Wilson plays just an average guy who lands in the future.
Everything about him is average. Nothing about him is brilliant. He is just average. Yet in the film, he is the smartest man on the planet and is voted in as President of the United States, or what used to be called that.
It is a clarion call for every educated person who is now eschewing having more than one child. Or, two. The people who have many children in today’s America are often those who contribute least, financially speaking.
Those educated folk are taxed and taxed some more. Often both partners work and must struggle with child care. They are attempting, through hard work and education to accumulate wealth.
And they do. But take a leap of imagination and fast forward another thousand years. That is what the film Idiocracy does. It is very intriguing because it is logical. And it is also entertaining.
Tucker Carlson is also both logical and entertaining. That is why the Left fears him; that is why I adore him. I do miss his chuckles most of all, added when he was pointing out an evil absurdity.
I see little reason to watch Fox now, and considering the steep decline of their stock price, it appears that no one else wants to watch it either.
Laura Ingraham, who I met once at her book signing seems to stick her finger in the air to decide what side she is on. Yes, she has three children to think about, but with a net worth of $75 million, or as much as $350 million. I do not expect to see her in a soup kitchen any time soon.
Because I am not her accountant, I have no idea what she is worth. Long ago and far away we were taught never ever to discuss a person’s bank account—but that went out the window like hats and dainty white gloves for real ladies.
Sean Hannity has no money worries either. Seventy-five million or much more, as some sources quote, would do most of us just fine. He is an author and a radio personality. Plus all that he is a good friend of my favorite President, Donald J Trump.
He was number 1 on Fox until Tucker arrived. But he is still a viable voice for Conservatism. He always stated “I am a Conservative first and a Republican second.
Actually, Hannity says that now he is not a Republican but is registered with the Conservative Party of New York State. It does not seem to be a National Party, as of this writing.
But tomorrow—who knows? I honestly believe that the United States works best with two and only two parties.
Remember Ross Perot? He had a third party and this many political commentaries state was what got Bill Clinton elected. I remember seeing Ross Perot dancing on stage after an election. He quipped that he had paid enough money to do just that.
Perhaps it is hard-wired into our system that two parties are enough. George Washington called them “Factions,” and was strongly opposed to them.
However, do we not need some sort of organization of our political life/
I will leave that for you to ponder.
