I definitely have something, and it’s not something I want. Ever. Perhaps the Dominican Republic is just a bad luck place for me. Once, I scheduled plastic surgery there, thinking to save money.
It turned out that I did not get the surgery; a correct decision due to my anemia, but the surgeon decided to steal my money. Very incorrect! Then, a certain young lady, who graduated from the University of Miami with my son, stepped in and yelled at said doctor in Spanish.
Needless to say, my money was home before I could say Bank of America. It is always who you know, what you know is secondary. I love people with both money and knowledge.
There are many other bonuses to money. For one, I can go shopping with it. Like the late, great philosopher René Descarte said, “ I shop, therefore I am.” Well, To Be or Not to Be?
No question here. I would rather Be, so I can travel, and of course, shop. Because if I see something that I cannot get at home, and it also makes me look 10-years-younger and 10 Lbs thinner, then I absolutely must have it.
I wonder why men are so different? Unless they are playing for the other team, they seem vastly disinterested in what they look like. How often my husband has decried my travel pursuits as just another shopping trip.
I mean really, I am a woman with style. Even when I was young and broke, I was cited on style. Either you have style; or you don’t. I do. So, I flaunt it.
On more reflection, it is better that I have style and shop and he does not. Oh, just to be clear, I am also adamantly opposed to men having long eyelashes. We have need of them; men do not.
